A Note from the Curator

Hi, I'm Madelyn- a first-year student at Johns Hopkins University. 

 

Moving from Chicago to Baltimore has been an all-encompassing experience.​ Before moving to Baltimore, all I had heard about the city was its crime-ridden state. I never expected to stumble upon a city absolutely submerged and immersed in art. 

 

I aim to help capture and amplify the beauty of the city I will call my home for the next four years whilst elevating the unique voices of artists around Baltimore. As a newcomer, I also hope to immerse myself in the rich culture and history of Baltimore by taking in the art around me.​
